Updated July 2010
The Galleria is a large, modern design in my luxury homes range, has undergone a recent overall and now, I believe, presents even better value for money.
The house provides a large open-plan ground floor, complete with kitchen (removable after rezzing if not required), bay front and large lounge with doors to both the front and rear aspects.
The upper floor comprises a galleried walkway and two large bedrooms, one of which has access to a rear-face balcony.
Window tinting and Indirect Lighting
The Galleria includes the my window tinting / indirect lighting system. By day the windows feature lace curtains that provide a degree of privacy. At night, these become closed hanging drapes to provide complete privacy. In addition hidden lighting effects provide an subtle external glow to the house, giving the impression that light from inside is filtering out from behind the drapes. Additionally, you can manually switch between the curtains and drapes at any time by touching any window and selecting the required state from the displayed menu (bedroom operate independently of the rest of the house).
Lighting
The Galleria offers full internal lighting, with switchpate-controlled lights for the bay, lounge and kitchen (the latter offering a choice of colours for the kitchen area). The bedrooms include individual lights, and the back porch can be additional lit if required.
All lighting should be used with respect to the SL six sources of local lighting rule.
Other Features
The fire cane be lit by saying “on” in chat and extinguished by saying “x” (no quotes in either case). The house is also supplied with a set of 4 optional breakfast chairs.
Overall, the Galleria always presented exceptional style and accommodation at a reasonable price. With thse revisions, we think it just became a whole lot better.
