The Kensington is a magnificent home suitable for larger properties (ideally 4096 sq m). It features extensive accommodation, tastefully finished in quality textures and includes many features.
The front of the house comprises a large stone-tiled patio with two prim-lit water features bordering the path to the front door.
Inside, the house has a central hallway bordered by the two downstairs bedrooms and leading to the larage lounge area.
The open-plan lounge runs the full length of the house, and is separated from the hallway by an arched entrance. An open-plan sculpted stairway provides access to the master bedroom. The main feature of the lounge area is the stone built fireplace with “working” flames that can be lit or doused on command. Doors to the back of the lounge provide access to a small rear patio area, which also serves the back bedroom.
At the front of the lounge is the kitchen, sparated from the main living space by a breakfast bar (two breakfast chairs supplied). The kitchen is tile-floored and offers a compact, brightly-lit working space, allowing the front part of the lounge to be used as a dining area, if required.
The Kensington’s master bedroom is located directly over the lounge are and runs the full length of the build, providing ample room for the most luxurious of bedroom suites. As with the lounge, the bedroom features a beautiful stone fireplace with working flames. A door on one side of the bedroom provides access to the rooftop patio.
The patio features stone-built planters which allow a range of flowers and small shrubs to be added to the house. In addition, the patio features a built-in hot tub, complete with working water, bubbles and steam. This comes complete with a set of casual sitting poses as well as a MLP animation engine and 14 further custom animations.
Lighting is provided throughout the build and includes my automatic “on at dusk, off and dawn” option. In addition, prim glow is used in moderation to enhance the nighttime look of the house, with prim lights either side of the exterior doors and in the front reflecting pools.
Thw windows of the Kensington are a unique feature designed to enhance privacy when viewed from the outside without reducing the view from the inside to the to outside world. When looked upon from the outside, the windows appear to be large wood-finished panels that match the overall decorative style of the house; from the inside, the windows are completed by venetian blinds that again add to the overall look and feel of the house wihout impacting the view outside.
Considerable care has been taken with the overall look of the Kensington to present something that is unique and eye-catching. The exterior walls are all finished in stone, while the windows have individual aluminium-finished frames. The roof areas are a mix of concrete and wood finishes that have been carefully blended. Inside, the walls are finished in warm colours and include wood dado rails as a touch of extra luxury. The interior doors and glass are all i-Squared custom textures not to be found in any competing builds.
